We've now had this vent for tweleve years and had no problems with it. Its powerful when you need it and effective on all levels. We changed out the heat lamps for regular range light bulbs since we dont have a shelf or a stainless back wall. So easy to clean. Pop the vents out and into the dishwasher every few months or as needed. One exception is having to replace small lights is awkward; it's not easy to remove the ring around the light and the light itself is flush so difficult to remove. We are also replacing the second knob on the hood as the small metal "spring" broke off and the knob falls off / acts stripped.

What a great investment! I love to cook and entertain. Looked and researched for a month before deciding on this one. Had a custom stainless vent/duct made to complete the look.
