Maytag MGR6600PZGas Freestanding Range: Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel

My old stove was in my house when I bought it in 2008. Not sure when the stove was purchased by the previous owners. My old stove was in a state of disrepair per my service technician. New stove appears to be a significant upgrade to the old one. Haven't had the new stove very long but so far, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this range a month ago and I've been very happy with it. I looked at a few different brands when searching for a new range and Maytag was the best choice for me. I knew that I didn't need all the bells and whistles, I wasn't interested in convection or Wi-Fi, I just wanted a range that was dependable and cooked food properly. I was not disappointed! I've made a variety of foods in the oven; meat, chicken, fish, cookies, pizza, and everything came out perfectly. The burners have worked well and I like the extra 5th burner, which is something I never had before. The cast iron grates are large/heavy but I haven't had an issue removing to clean cooktop. I also appreciate the fingerprint resistant stainless finish. The only thing I had to get used to was the orange display clock/temp on the touchpad. My last range (that I had for 20 years) had a blue display but it's a minor adjustment for me and not a big deal. Lastly, I love how this range looks in my kitchen and I am looking forward to using it for many years. Also, I'm considering a Maytag fridge and dishwasher in the future.

Preheats so fast I had to give it the side eye. Great oven so far.
