Pre-heats quickly and maintains a steady temperature. Although the exterior dimensions are the same as my old oven, the interior is slightly smaller which required new cookie sheets. Small inconvenience, though, and it worked beautifully through all my Christmas cookie baking. I love that the light comes on automatically when I open the door; my old oven light had to be turned on automatically.
