Fantastic alternative when living in an apt!

This machine, even at 5000 btu is so efficient, with it's built in digital thermostat it can keep my 950 sq foot apt cool really nicely, and you can hardly hear it!~ It's very very quiet.; I am moving to a place with central air, so I have only has this for a month, but wow, what a great to heaving the A/C up into an apt window and trying to find plywood to cover the hole above the windowed A/C...... Not with this Danby! It's fantastic!

What to do if I do not have the remote control

My landlord just gave this AC to me for this summer. It is running great, the problem is that my landlord lost the remote control and besides turning on and off, I can't set the temperature nor mode. If anyone knows where can I buy the remote for this? Or would the universal remote control work for this? Thanks
