Whirlpool GS563LXSS30" Freestanding Gas Range with AccuBake Heat Distribution System, AccuSimmer, Storage Drawer & Glass Console: Stainless Steel

Had this range since 2007 and loved it until..............last week. The oven stopped working, did not go on at all!.. Had the serviceman come to check it out and he informed me it would require $800. to repair and wasn't worth it. Hard to believe an appliance would go in 7 1/2 years and then I was told that live is 7-15 years! Contacted Whirlpool and they would give no response. Gone shopping, but not for Whirlpool.
